3D printed prosthesis

Armbisjon

We volunteer our time and printers to help Armbisjon, a Norwegian non-profit organisation, that provides prosthesis to children and adults around the world. We lend our 3D modeling skills so each recipient receives a prosthesis that fits perfectly.  To meet the needs of Armbisjon we dedicate our 3D printers to printing prosthesis after office hours. If you would like to donate and help a child receive a prosthesis then please visit www.Armbisjon.no

The e-nable 3D printed prosthesis

Changing peoples lives.

e-nable in the USA and team unlimited in the UK are the creators of the prosthesis that we 3D print. Each prosthesis is custom fitted so we change each design to suit the needs of the receiver. Armbisjon currently provide arms to people in Norway and Cambodia in collaboration with non profit, Green umbrella in Cambodia.

Cost effective

Because the prosthesis are 3D printed, the cost is reduced dramatically. A traditional prosthesis in Norway today can cost up to 150,000NOK depending on the design. We can provide an Alfie edition arm for under 1000NOK. This not only benefits the recipient, because they can have a new one printed when they grow out of the old one, but also the government health budget of Norway will save too.

Recycled plastic

We use recycled plastic filament to print the prosthesis so we are not only helping people, we are also helping the environment. The filament is recycled from industrial waste that would normally have added to landfill. Our recycled plastic has the same stength and quality of virgin plastic but with a better conscience.
